WORKSHOP ASSISTANT/ YARD COODINATOR
This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in keeping our workshop and yard operations running efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating equipment movements, maintaining yard organisation, and supporting the workshop team with daily operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the movement and organisation of equipment within the yard
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Prepare equipment for dispatch and customer collection
- Conduct basic pre-start checks and cleaning of machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workshop and yard
- Assist mechanics and technicians as required
- Manage incoming and outgoing equipment documentation
- Ensure all activities comply with workplace health and safety standards

APPRENTICE DIESEL MECHANIC- 1st YEAR
This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in the diesel mechanical trade while gaining hands-on experience working on lifting and access equipment in a supportive workshop environment.
You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn all aspects of diesel mechanical servicing and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with servicing, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered lifting equipment
- Learn to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Support senior mechanics with breakdown repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Complete TAFE requirements and on-the-job training

EWP & TELESCOPIC HANDLER MECHANIC
You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining telescopic handlers, Elevated work platforms and related lifting equipment in the workshop and yard in Smeaton Grange.

- Servicing and repairs on telescopic handlers and Elevated Work Platforms
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Completing job cards and service documentation
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
