PURPOSE OF TRAINING
EWP Ticket Training, also known as Yellow Card Training, provides the accreditation required to operate mobile elevated work platforms (EWPs) with boom lengths under 11 metres. And, receive a Yellow Card Ticket (Yellow Card Licence). So why is this training important? This training develops EWP Operator competency and ensures that duty of care requirements are covered to meet OHS/WHS legislation. So, whether you are an experienced or novice EWP operator this training is suitable for you.

COURSE OVERVIEW
The EWP Ticket Operator Licence is designed for people needing to develop the skills and knowledge required to operate mobile elevating work platforms. The course provides training in the safe use of Scissor Lift, Vertical Lift and Boom Lift Elevated Work Platforms with boom length under 11 metres.
EWP TICKET TRAINING OUTLINE
Course participants will learn the skills required to safely operate various types of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms. Learn through theoretical and hands on training delivered by Trainers accredited by EWPA.
- Hazard identification, risk assessment and controls
- Fall arrest harness inspection, fitting and use
- Identify safe operating parameters using data plate and manual
- Conduct pre and post operational checks
- Operation of EWP
- Emergency procedures
- Theory assessment and practical observation and demonstration
COURSE OUTCOMES
The operator is issued a Yellow Card once they are competent in the safe use and operation of mobile elevated work platforms. In addition, they will have completed the assessment tasks as set out by the accredited trainers. The Yellow Card Ticket is a photo ID card that is valid for 5 years of operation.
Yellow Cards are also known by various names. For example, EWP Yellow Card, EWP Ticket, EWP Licence, EWP Operator Licence, EWP Certificate, Yellow Card Ticket, Yellow Card Licence, Yellow Card Operator Licence and Yellow Card Certificate. Therefore, these all mean the same thing.
COURSE DATES
YG Lifting Solutions is no longer offering EWP Yellow Card Training.
COURSE DURATION
Training takes between 6-8 hrs. Duration depends on class size and the level of experience of the operators. You'll be qualified before you know it!
COURSE DELIVERY
It is delivered using visual aids, verbal explanation, demonstration and observation. Above all, it's fun and interactive. Our expert trainers will assist participants to meet the requirements. It's easy! In fact, anyone can do it.

YELLOW CARD RENEWALS
EWP Tickets are valid for 5 years. Therefore, they need to be renewed after this time.

Participants should be at least 18 years of age.
