A 10 Year Major Inspection is a mandatory compliance measure for EWPs and Telehandlers under Australian Standards AS2550 and is considered a code of practice under relevant Work (Occupational) Health and Safety Law. This inspection is a legal requirement to ensure that machines are in safe working order regardless of their age. After the initial 10-year major inspection machines should have further major inspections every 5 years.
